Lately I've been think of restarting the Harry Potter series for the third time. I was bored and wanted something to read. My mom came home one day and asked me if I'd heard of a book called "Twilight." I told her I thought my friend Maddison had been reading it and was telling me about it at the begging of the school year. I didn't think much of her bringing it up. When she came home from shopping with my sister the other day, she came in and handed me a huge book. It only has about 500 pages, but it looks thick. I've only had it for three days and I've only been reading it for two. I've only got about 186 pages left. I keep telling myself, "I'm gonna be done with this by the end of the week and mom's gonna have to buy the sequal." Oh well.


It's about a girl named Bella who moves to a little town called Forks. She was from California. When she got to town, she found a strange family that was all too perfect. She sat next to one of the younger boys named Edward in biology. She tought he disliked her at first, but as time went on, and he continuosly saved her life, she discovered that he was actually quite fond of her. She was a little curious about him and his family, so did some research. She'd had a theory that they were vampires. But when she looked up the subject online, she saw that most of the characteristics didn't match up. When she went to school, Edward wasn't there and she was heart broken. They finally got to talk a little when he was taking her home from a shopping trip, and she discovered that her suspicions were right. They were vampires. One day, Edward took Bella up to a little grove in the forest. He showed her why vampires don't come out in the day. She already had realised that she loved him. When they were about to head home, Edward tried his luck, and they kissed. When Bella got home she invited Edward to stay for a little while. But when her dad suddenly came home and Edward had to disappear. She went to her room and whispered his name. He was sitting on her bed. After talking for a brief while, Bella fell asleep in Edwards arms....
